Mombo Monday!

Monday again, already? I wish weekends didn't go by so quickly. We got a lot done this weekend though! Christmas tree is up, decorations are up, tile is ready to be laid in the bathroom tomorrow and the house is as clean as it's going to get for now! No sense in cleaning the den with everything from the bathroom in it right now, lol!  Besides getting all that done, I am still battling whatever this nasty virus is and I am feeling like crud. I can only hope it is going away soon. The only thing keeping me going is knowing that I have it NOW rather than at Christmas. So let's cross our fingers it is gone soon! :(

Perfect, as usual... Love all the pretty shades of purple!!  Also, she got another new set of custom nails from Custom Nail Solutions, this set is glamour length.  Pretty nice, right??

Last but not least, using a color I am totes in love with (I am the Walrus by Enchanted Polish)...

Not sure what color she used to stamp with, and I am not going to bother her while she's in Vegas, but I love this mani! I neeeeeeed the whole Enchanted Polish Beatles collection.  For those of you that don't know me well enough, I have a slight obsession with The Beatles. ;) I love them, and I love this polish and all the rest in the collection... but they are totes not in my budget now or probs not in the near future unfortunately. :(

Mombo Monday!!

Look at me, I was totes ahead of the game on this one and scheduled my post.. I'm all fancy and schtuff! haha Don't get used to it though, it probs won't happen much! ;)

For this Mombo Monday I want to first point out that my Mombo got some fancy longer nails! hehe Remember in this post when I went on and on about her amazing unbreakable custom fake nails?  Okay, so you probably don't remember that but you should def go read about the amazing nails she has and maybe even check them out if you are the acrylic/press on/glue on type of nail gal because when you see how AH-MAZE-ING her nails are, and then read about the fact that they are unbreakable, uncrackable, custom fit to your nail bed, any length, shape, size you want, etc... you will most likely want them! I want them but have nice nails on my own so I can't mess with that noise! teehee!

 I wanted to show these as close as possible, because how AWESOME do these look??? These are POLISH FREE right now! This is just how they look after they are glued on, totally rockin, right?

 Then here's the whole picture, her beautimous hands and nails (which you can actually see all over the customnailsolutions website, and they are pictures she took herself with her phone or camera and mani's she did herself... and they asked if they could use the pictures. She wasn't hired by them or anything, lol!)

Anyway, enough of that!  She had a couple cool mani's last week I wanted to share!

I LOVE the grunge look and had success with it myself, and here's what hers turned out like! Love it!

The polishes she used on this were: Sally Hansen "Black", Orly "Green Apple", CG "Fiji Fling", CG "Sky High Top" and OPI 'Call Me Gwen-Ever"

For this awesome mani (which totes looks like those little peppermint candies to me!) she used an Unnamed Color Club light grey and then stamped with Kleancolor Metallic Navy.

Oh so fun! I love seeing what Mombo does with her nails! :)

Safety Dance!

Yeah, I know, I need to figure out some better post titles than song titles! haha I just get songs stuck in my head and I can't help it!!!

Oh! Want to hear something really cool? I had my first ever blog post link to my blog today!  Gwen over at A Little Unhinged (who is a total sweetheart, and I am fully certain we would be great friends IRL, lol) linked up to me in her post today! I was so excited when I got an email from her today letting me know! :) You should check her out, too! If you like me, you'll probably like her too! 

So I have been wearing the same mani for 3 days now (see a few posts below for my current mani featuring Sinful Colors "Rain Storm" and Nicole by OPI "Me+Blue"). So today I am going to show you a couple awesome ones that my Mombo (yes, that is what I call my mom, I have called her that for many, many years haha) has done.

My Mombo seriously rocks out her nails like mad, doesn't she?? Speaking of her nails, she has amazing faux nails. haha In fact, I have always been completely weirded out by fake nails and hated that she just HAD to have fake nails all the time.  Then she got these so called "amazing, special, fancy, custom, blah, blah.." nails and I thought she was losing it. UNTIL I saw them! Wow! I sort of wished I didn't my own fantastic set of nice real nails! haha I really love her fake nails! They are AH-MAZE-BALLS! The website says this "custom fit finger nail that is guaranteed to never break, chip, crack, change shape or stain and will last your lifetime!"

Anywho... if you want to know what I'm talking about, you should check them out at Custom Nail Solutions (and if you order some, could you maybe tell them that you heard about them from my Mombo, Diane Graham, and maybe I'll get an extra nail polish for Christmas or something?!? haha Only if you want to tell them her name, lol, she does NOT know I am doing this!)

Okay, that was not supposed to be an advertisement, I don't even have fake nails they are totes my own! Sorry about that... I just get excited about them because my moms nails look so nice!

So that's all for now, I have to get to watching Big Brother, it's double eviction night! ahhhhh! (I'm such a nerd, I know)
